FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT LATER TODAY

A flood watch will go into effect in our area later today.  The National Weather Service has scheduled the advisory for 11 this morning to 10:00 tonight for Westmoreland, Indiana and Allegheny Counties.  Additional showers today could cause flooding in flood-prone and low-lying areas.  Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded. Storm drains and ditches may become clogged with debris. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.  Stay with us as we’ll have your accuweather forecast coming up.
