The heat was a factor over the weekend at the Shop n Save Westmoreland International Air Show. The Trib reports that 20,000 people came out on Saturday, and the show had another good attendance day on Sunday. But there were reports of a few people suffering heat-related illnesses. The heat did not affect the performance of the headlining act, the Canadian Air Force Snowbirds.
