POWER OUTAGES REPORTED YESTERDAY

Power outages were reported yesterday as the heat wave continued.  According to The Trib, over 3000 West Penn Power customers in the Scottdale area were without power along with another 900 in Monessen.  Cooling centers were set up at the Scottdale Fireman’s Club.  While that outage is over, about 20 customers in Greensburg and small pockets of outages are elsewhere.
