ONE PERSON ARRESTED AFTER GREENSBURG CRASH

One person was injured and one person was arrested in connection with a two-vehicle crash on South Main Street in Greensburg.  The Trib reports that 34-year-old Collin M. Hays appeared to be intoxicated when he was taken into custody near the scene of the crash at the entrance to GetGo at 7:15 PM on Monday.  He allegedly ran from the scene of the crash after impact.  Police found a beer in the center console of his car and several empty cans of an alcoholic beverage scattered in the backseat.  Hays was being held in Westmoreland County Prison with a preliminary hearing set for July 3rd.
