GOVERNOR SHAPIRO HONORING STATE TROOPERS WHO RESPONDED TO PRESIDENT TRUMP’S ASSASSINATION ATTEMPT

Governor Josh Shapiro is honoring the state troopers who responded to the assassination attempt against President Donald Trump in Butler County last summer.  The state police Presidential Rally Incident Team has been given the Governor’s Award for Excellence.  This includes 33 troopers who helped protect the public and investigate the shooting at the Butler Farm Show grounds last July.  The award is one of the highest possible honors for Pennsylvania Commonwealth employees.
