LATROBE CITY OFFICIALS ANNOUNCE PAVING SCHEDULE

Latrobe city officials have announced the paving schedule and awarded the contract for the project.  The Trib reports that Derry Construction was awarded the $367,343 contract.  The schedule includes extensive work on Taft Street, which intersects with Second Avenue across from Independence Health System Latrobe, along with a portion of Second Avenue near the hospital between Main Street and Garfield Road, and parts of Ligonier Street, Oak Street, Sylvan Avenue, Spring Street, Truman Avenue, Brinker Avenue; and Chambers, Harding and Chestnut Streets.  The paving will be timed so it will not interfere with 4th of July celebrations.
