The Greensburg Salem School Board last night approved the 2025-26 budget with a 2.5 mill tax hike. The Trib reports that the $53 million budget includes a $38 tax increase for the average homeowner. The approval came after about 30 minutes of public discussion and a 25-minute executive session.The board entered an executive session to discuss how personnel changes might impact the budget, board President Jeff Metrosky said, before returning to reconsider the originally proposed budget and millage rate.The budget passed in a 6-2 vote, and the millage increase passed in a 5-3 vote.
