A New Kensington man who has been on the run from the law for months is now in custody after being found in Pittsburgh. The Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office says 28-year-old William Rodgers was taken in on outstanding warrants at a home in the city’s Knoxville neighborhood yesterday. Authorities have been looking for Rodgers since February when he reportedly walked out of the Renewal Center halfway house downtown after being sentenced on drug charges. He is also facing new counts related to firearms.
