JEANNETTE AND STATE POLICE APPREHEND SUSPECT WITH ASSITANCE FROM U.S. MARSHALS

Jeannette and State Police were joined by U.S. Marshals last night in apprehending someone who allegedly violated their parole during a standoff.  The Trib reports that authorities were able to take the man into custody at a home near the intersection of Penn Avenue and 13th Street.  Authorities did not identify the suspect, who was taken into custody at 7:30 PM, about an hour and a half after marshals joined local and state police.
