SHEETZ PLANS TO DEMOLISH AND RECONFIGURE TWO LOCATIONS IN NORTH HUNTINGDON

Sheetz is planning on demolishing two of its locations on Route 30 in North Huntingdon.  The Trib reports that the stores will be the ones at the intersections with North Thompson Lane and Carpenter Lane.  Company spokesperson Nick Ruffner says construction is expected to begin this fall on its store along North Thompson Lane this fall, with a projected opening in the winter of 2026.  The new store will have a drive-thru lane and have the ability to fuel 12 vehicles at once.  The company will also have a reconfigured store at the intersection of Carpenter Lane and Route 30 with a 10-vehicle fueling capacity, and will open late spring or early summer of next year.
