A New Kensington man has to announce his decision tomorrow on whether or not he will take a plea deal involving murder during a botched robbery in 2020 and the unrelated shooting of four others a few years later. The Trib reports that 34-year-old Latresse T. Williams was given a combined plea offer, but it would be withdrawn by his next court appearance on Thursday. Williams was found not guilty of first degree murder last summer in the January 2020 shooting of Anthone Williams, no relation, in New Kensington, but the jury was unable to reach a verdict on other counts. Prosecutors said they will seek a conviction at the retrial on the charge of second-degree murder.
