A Washington County man was sentenced for a DUI crash in 2023 where motorcyclists were injured. The Trib reports 68-year-old William Strogish was ordered to serve five and a half to 11 years in prison for his guilty plea to several charges connected with the crash on Route 30 halfway up the summit of Laurel Mountain, as he hit three motorcyclists while weaving into oncoming traffic. Judge Megham Billik-Defazio also ordered that if he serves any time on probation, he is barred from driving. This makes the 12th conviction on drunk driving charges for Strogish since the 1970’s.
