WORK ON COMMERCIAL SPACE AT FORMER MONSOUR MEDICAL CENTER SET TO START NEXT YEAR

Work on commercial space at the former Monsour Medical Center is set to start next year.  The Trib reports that the new retail complex in Jeannette will be accompanied by over 30 townhomes nearby.  Officials expect construction in what is being called Jayhawk Commons to start next year.  Meanwhile, construction on the townhome development called Jayhawk Landing on Pennsylvania Avenue will feature a total of at least 32 town homes.  Construction is expected to start around the same time.
