DELMONT MAN CHARGED IN TORTURE AND DEATH OF ADOPTED SON WANTS SEPARATE TRIAL

A Delmont man, who is charged with his wife in the torture and death of their adopted son, wants a separate trial.  The Trib reports that the attorney for Jacob Maloberti said that evidence suggests that Lauren was the person who beat and killed five-year-old Landon in early 2024.  Police said that the boy’s injuries were inflicted by his parents over several months.  The two are slated for a joint hearing on September 2nd.
