HEAT ADVISORY TODAY

The National Weather Service has put a heat advisory out for most of Westmoreland County from noon till 8:00 tonight.  High temperatures combined with the humidity levels will have the heat index up to 103 degrees, and that could cause some heat illnesses.  The NWS advises people to stay hydrated, stay in air-conditioned environments, and check on pets and elderly family and friends in case they are adversely affected.  We’ll have the latest AccuWeather forecast throughout the day on air at 107.1 FM and on our website.
