CHARGES AGAINST KENTUCKY WOMAN DROPPED AFTER RESTITUTION PAYMENT

Charges against a Kentucky woman were dropped after she paid restitution to the owners of a Donegal Township bed and breakfast.  The Trib reports that 35-year-old Samantha Brown of Louisville was charged with stealing an antique wooden bar from the property.  Charges of theft and receiving stolen property were dropped however after she paid the owners $18,000.  The charges were filed last October and Brown was arrested on July 10th.  She was jailed on $75,000 bail but the restitution agreement has freed her.
