INDIANA COUNTY MAN FACES MULTIPLE FELONY CHARGES

An Indiana County man faces multiple felony charges after authorities say he tried to engage in sexual contact with someone he thought was a minor.  Indiana County’s District Attorney announced that 41-year-old Jeremy Garlena was communicating online with someone he thought was a 15-year-old girl in Louisiana who was really an undercover police officer, and asking the “girl” for explicit photos, sending nude images of himself and trying to arrange a sexual relationship.  A warrant has been issued for Garlena’s arrest.  He faces three counts including unlawful contact of a minor for statutory sexual assault, disseminating explicit material, and solicitation of child pornography.
