LETRESSE WILLIAMS RETRIAL UNDERWAY

The retrial of Letresse Williams is underway in Westmoreland County Court.  The Trib reports that he is charged with second-degree murder in the January 2020 shooting death of Anthone Williams.  It allegedly happened during a botched robbery attempt.  In June of 2024, Williams was acquitted of first-degree murder, but jurors were unable to reach a verdict on the other charges, and that is the focus of the retrial.  Testimony will continue today.
