Prosecutors in Westmoreland County have again failed to earn a guilty verdict in the trial of an alleged killer. Investigators say that Letresse Williams fatally shot Anthone Williams outside of a New Kensington apartment complex in 2020. Williams was first tried in the matter last year with jurors finding him not guilty of first-degree murder and unable to reach verdicts on four other charges. His second trial ended in a mistrial yesterday with jurors considering charges including second-degree murder and — again — unable to reach verdicts. Prosecutors say they plan to take the case to trial again.
