CARD SKIMMER DISCOVERED AT NEW KEN GIANT EAGLE

Giant Eagle is alerting its customers at the New Kensington store that they may have fallen victim to a card skimmer.  WTAE-TV reports that the device was discovered in mid-June, but it only affected people who swiped their cards.  Customers who tapped or inserted their cards were not affected.  Giant Eagle advises people to check their statements carefully to see if they were affected and report anything unusual to their issuer.
