A sign sharing information on Greensburg City Hall’s past as a trolley station is being installed sometime in the near future. City Planning Director Alec Italiano says the William G. Pomeroy Foundation is issuing a 25-hundred-dollar grant to purchase the placard. The building was first constructed by West Penn Railways Company in 1927 and was used as a trolley stop until 1951. The city purchased and renovated the structure in 1954.
