The former leader of the Spartaco Sporting Club in New Kensington is accused of stealing thousands of dollars in cash from the club. KDKA-TV reports that 82-year-old Glen Hofer is charged with breaking into the club, taking membership records, alcohol and tax records and $4000 in cash. Club leadership also discovered that Hofer allegedly transferred the deed to the club in his name back in June, even though he was no longer a member.
