MOUNTAIN WATERSHED ASSOCIATION HOSTING CLEANUP AT YOUGH RIVER TOMORROW

The Mountain Watershed Association is hosting a cleanup along the Youghiogheny River tomorrow.  They are looking for boat owners who would like to volunteer to help remove trash from the water between Rostraver and West Newton.  Folks can drop off their boats at Rostraver’s Cedar Park and drive to meet the group at the West Newton ballfield, off Goehring Pond Road.  Everyone will then take a shuttle back to the park to get started around 8:30 a.m.  Participants are invited to bring their own sunscreen, drinking water, and snacks.
