A four-mile stretch of the Youghiogheny River is a little cleaner thanks to around 20 volunteers. The group got together for a semi-annual cleanup hosted by the Mountain Watershed Association on Saturday. They were able to pull roughly 200 tires out of the water between Cedar Creek Park in Rostraver and West Newton. The organization has helped to remove close to three-thousand tires from the river since 2019.
