A New Kensington man pleaded guilty on Monday to reduced charges in connection with an incident last year in Arnold. The Trib reports that felony charges of rape, aggravated indecent assault, sexual assault and aggravated assault were dismissed against Marque Sanders, but he pleaded guilty to misdemeanor counts of indecent assault and simple assault. A spokesperson for the DA’s office said the deal came with the consent of the victim. Police said Sanders assaulted a women he met at an Arnold bar on April 3, 2024. Sanders was ordered to serve six to 23 months in jail to run concurrent to a sentence he is currently serving.
