A New Alexandria man was denied bail after he allegedly planted a bomb on his former landlord’s lawnmower. The Trib reports that 54-year-old James Sever was charged in connection with the explosion in July at the property belonging to Dave Martin. An off-duty trooper spotted him in Indiana County on the Hoodlebug Trail and he was arrested without incident Tuesday night. A preliminary hearing is set for September 22nd.
