ARNOLD OFFICIALS SUPPORT PLAN TO IMPROVE FIRE RESPONSES

Local officials in Arnold are supporting a plan to partner with New Kensington and Lower Burrell to improve fire response in those communities.  The Arnold Council has voted in favor a the Tri-City Duty Crew proposal.  Under this plan, firefighters in each municipality will work together to cover emergency calls during the day, when fewer volunteers are available.  Leaders in New Kensington and Lower Burrell have already approved the pitch.
