HEMPFIELD TOWNSHIP SUPERVISORS GET READY TO BUILD NEW SALT STORAGE BUILDING

Hempfield Township Supervisors are getting ready to build a new salt storage building to replace one that was damaged during snow removal season last year.  The Trib reports that a back wall blew out and officials decided not to fill it with salt this year.  The new 50-by-60 foot hoop shaped salt storage building will be located at the Hempfield Municipal Building.  The cost of the project, including installation, comes to just over $45,000.
