FIRE DESTROYS HOUSE IN LATROBE

A fire destroyed a house in Latrobe last night.  The Trib reports that firefighters were called out just after 7 PM to a home at 315 Chambers Street.  Fire Chief John Brasile believes the fire started from a grill on the porch outside the home.  While the grill was off, the heat combined with grease to spark the fire.  The fire was ruled accidental and the home is believed to be a total loss.  A woman and two dogs were displaced.  They are staying with nearby relatives.
