INDIANA COUNTY WOMAN CHARGED WITH KILLING A MAN IN BLAIRSVILLE LAST NIGHT

An Blairsville-area woman was charged with killing a man in Blairsville last night.  Blairsville Borough and State Police were called out to a home on Pender Avenue in Burrell Township at 5:00 PM and found 36-year-old Jessica Morelli and the victim, an un-named man who lived with her, who was stabbed multiple times.  He was declared dead after he was taken to Allegheny General Hospital.  Morelli was taken into custody, charged with criminal homicide, aggravated assault and possession of an instrument of crime.  State police have announced a news conference this afternoon concerning the stabbing and the officer-involved shooting in Grant Township.
