TRIAL OF DERRY MAN CONTINUES

The Trial of a Derry man charged with assaulting his live-in girlfriend two years ago continued yesterday in Westmoreland County Court.  The Trib reports that 33-year-old Nicholas Hood is charged with simple assault and harassment.  The victim took the stand yesterday, describing the attack at their home on August 26, 2023.  Hood has denied the allegations.  Closing arguments are expected today.
