MURRYSVILLE MAN ACCUSED OF BASEBALL BAT BEATING AT SALEM TOWNSHIP GETGO

A Murrysville man is accused of beating two people with a baseball bat at a Salem gas station last week.  The Trib reports that 26-year-old Reno Roberts was arrested on Monday for the incident that happened last Thursday at a GetGo Station on Route 22 where he reportedly attacked someone he was in a previous relationship with and their new partner.  He surrendered himself just hours after authorities issued a request to the public to help find him.  Roberts faces charges of aggravated and simple assault.  Bail was denied and he is in Westmoreland County Jail pending a preliminary hearing on October 28th.
