STATE POLICE CHARGE HEMPFIELD WOMAN WITH FATALLY SHOOTING HER HUSBAND

State police have charged a Hempfield woman with fatally shooting her husband over the weekend.  The Trib reports that the shooting happened at the home of 51-year-old Leeann Steel.  Her husband, William, was found by authorities with a gunshot wound in a bedroom at their home.  She reportedly fired the gun after a dispute with her husband.  She remains in Westmoreland County prison as bail was denied.  A preliminary hearing is set for October 30th.
