A participant in the No Kings rally last Saturday who was injured is asking the County Commissioners to condemn political violence. The Trib reports that 70-year-old Karen Primm suffered a gash to her right arm when she was struck by the pole of a flag apparently waved by a supporter of President Donald Trump. She and her husband say they tried to de-escalate the situation but the unidentified man pushed protestors and swung the flagpole, hitting Primm in the arm. Charges are pending. Primm said that it is time for county leaders to take a stand against political violence.
