Relief could be on the way this week for the nearly two-million Pennsylvania residents who rely on SNAP benefits to help buy groceries. During an appearance on CNN’s “State of the Union” yesterday, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said food assistance payments could be coming as soon as Wednesday. A federal judge has ordered the Trump Administration to use emergency funding to pay for the SNAP program as the government shutdown continues.
