As the federal government shutdown continues, the Westmoreland Food Bank is gearing up to help TSA workers. The Trib reports that yesterday morning, the food bank delivered 30 boxes of food to Transportation Security Administration employees at Arnold Palmer Regional Airport. Those workers have missed two full paychecks since the federal government shutdown, according to union officials. The Greater Westmoreland County Labor Council also provided $75 Giant Eagle gift cards to help the TSA employees buy gas or food.
