ONE DEAD AFTER DERRY TOWNSHIP SHOOTING

One person is dead after a shooting Saturday night in Derry Township. The Trib reports that 28-year-old Ryan Hunker was killed in the incident at 1020 James Street that drew a large police presence including Latrobe police and State troopers. In a statement on X, State Police spokesperson Steven Limani said that it was a domestic incident where the “male alleged of discharging the firearm didn’t survive.” The investigation is ongoing.
