RAILCARS RETURN TO WESTMORELAND COUNTY TO COLLECT TOYS FOR TOTS

The railcars returned to parts of Westmoreland County this past weekend to collect toys for Toys for Tots.  The Trib reports that the 25 railcars decked out for the holidays made their trek from East Huntingdon to Hempfield he crew collected donations at numerous stops in communities along the Southwest Pennsylvania Railroad line.  Organizers said that over the years, the event has collected an estimated 15,000 toys and $30,000 for Toys for Tots.
