GREENSBURG CENTRAL CATHOLIC GRAD NOW THE FULL-TIME MANAGER OF THE COLORADO ROCKIES

A Greensburg Central Catholic graduate is now the full-time manager of the Colorado Rockies.  The Trib reports that Vandegrift native Warren Schaeffer was promoted to the position full-time after serving as interim manager this past season after the team fired manager Bud Black.  Schaeffer becomes the eighth full-time manager in club history. The 40-year-old has been a member of the Rockies organization for over a decade.
