A Murrysville shopping plaza was evacuated after a gas odor was detected. The Trib reports that six people were sickened by the smell and were taken to a local hospital as a precaution after the smell of gas was reported at Walnut Hollow Plaza on Route 22. The odor came from the grill area of the Chipotle restaurant around 2:00 PM. Peoples Gas spokesman Nick Paradise said the utility determined there was no problem with its infrastructure outside of the building. It wasn’t clear when the restaurant would reopen for business.
