A man charged with breaking into a North Huntingdon grocery store was sentenced last week in Westmoreland County Court. The Trib reports that 32-year-old Angel Ortega-Yanez was ordered to serve seven months to four years in state prison along with two years of probation for charges linked to the robbery on Octboer 14th at the Aldi grocery store on Norwin Avenue. North Huntingdon police said he used a hammer to break into the store and steal two cash boxes with about $800. Police said that he also used the hammer to smash a police car’s windshield. He was given credit for time served.
