SOUTH HUNTINGDON COUPLE CHARGED WITH CHILD ENDANGERMENT

A South Huntingdon couple is charged with child endangerment after they allegedly took two kids to a drug transaction in North Huntingdon Township.  The Trib reports that 34-year-old Gregory Carvallis, Jr. and 35-year-old Chelsey Palko were arrested after North Huntingdon police reported seeing an SUV tailgating another vehicle.  Police found the two children, ages 2 and 7, unrestrained in the back seat.  Palko admitted there was a brick of heroin in the vehicle and also produced a bag of crack cocaine.  The two are in Westmoreland County Jail in lieu of $150,000 each.  Preliminary hearings are set for December 12th.
