An Arnold man was acquitted by a Westmoreland County Jury of charges of aggravated harassment by a prisoner and indecent assault for an incident over eight years ago. The Trib reports that 50-year-old William Taylor was accused in connection with an incident on June 10th of 2017 when he was being transported with a female inmate to Westmoreland County Prison. He reportedly made a sexual advance on the woman, but he denied the accusations. He is scheduled to return to court Wednesday for a second trial on unrelated counts of driving while intoxicated and the attempted bribery of a Lower Burrell police officer. The arrest followed a crash the same day the assault allegation was made.
