Latrobe city officials are working to improve handicapped accessibility on sidewalks at seven locations north of Depot Street. The Trib reports that several locations are lacking curb ramps, and some locations that will see improvements include sites along Alexandria Street including the street’s intersections with McKinley Avenue and Thompson and Miller streets. The $80,000 project was selected for inclusion in Westmoreland County’s 2025 community development block grant program, with funding flowing from HUD.
