PENN TOWNSHIP COMMISSIONERS TO VOTE ON 2026 BUDGET NEXT WEEK

Penn Township Commissioners will vote next week on the 2026 budget.  The Trib reports that property taxes are expected to hold steady at 17.4 mills along with a 1.3 mill tax to fund the township’s five fire departments.  The spending plan comes to $12 million.  Commissioners are also looking at tweaking the budget for an HVAC project at the municipal building.   Commissioners will vote on the HVAC project and the 2026 budget at 7 p.m. on Dec. 17.
