First time filings for unemployment are decreasing across Pennsylvania. That’s according to the U.S. Department of Labor, which says for the week ending December 13th, there were more than 14-thousand first time filings in the state. That number is down by more than five-thousand filings compared to the week prior. Nationally, there was a decrease in the number of initial filings for the week.
