LOWER BURRELL POLICE CHARGE WOMAN IN CONNECTION WITH CAR CRASH

Police in Lower Burrell have charged a woman connected with a car crash from four months ago.  The Trib reports that 22-year-old Grisell Marie Hernandez is charged with DUI, aggravated assault by vehicle while driving under the influence and other crimes for the incident on August 22.  Hernandez was found on the ground next to the vehicle that crashed over a hillside near Edgecliff Road.  A pregnant woman was trapped in the vehicle and had to be extricated and flown to an area hospital for treatment of serious injuries.  Another passenger was found outside the vehicle.  A preliminary hearing is set for February 3rd.
