A crash closed a portion of the eastbound side of the PA Turnpike in New Stanton. The Trib reports that a commercial vehicle rolled onto its side shortly before 6 AM yesterday near mile marker 129 between the Somerset and Bedford interchanges. A California man lost control of the tractor-trailer he was driving while attempting to stop for the overturned vehicle, hit a guide rail and crashed, also blocking all of the lanes, troopers said in a report. He was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
