GRANTS AWARDED TO ORGANIZATIONS THAT SUPPORT THE ARTS

The Community Foundation of the Alleghenies has awarded grants to five Westmoreland County organizations that support the arts.  The CFA announced they awarded $5000 grants to the Greensburg Civic Theatre, River Art Works, St. Vincent College, Pitt-Greensburg and You Are Here, Inc.  They were five of 22 organizations across the region to receive $110,000 in funding through this round of grants.  The money can be used for administrative, program and project-related expenses.
