A case against a man accused of fatally shooting his brother outside the Elks lodge in New Kensington is moving forward. Charges against 38-year-old Steffon Ballard are being held for court after a preliminary hearing yesterday. Investigators say Ballard was in a fight with another man outside the club and was pistol whipping that person, when the gun went off and a bullet struck and killed his brother, Jeffrey Ballard. The suspect is facing counts including criminal homicide and aggravated assault.
